Belarus has won the International Pop Song Performers Contest at Slavianski Bazaar 2020 represented by Roman Voloznev.
Roman Voloznev has brought Belarus their sixth title in the International Pop Song Performers Contest at Slavianski Bazaar 2020. The singer who was leading after the first show by 1 point he ended the evening on the same points total as the Ukrainian entrant Elina Ivashchenko, the decision to award Roman the Grand Prix was taken by the Chairman of the Jury.
The results were as follows:
- Grand Prix – Roman Voloznev (Belarus) – 134 points
- First Place – Elina Ivashchenko (Ukraine) – 134 points
- Second Place – Karolina Lyndo (Lithuania) – 131 points
- Third Place – Khansultan (Kazakhstan – 125 points) & Ivona Odicki (Bosnia & Herzegovina – 124 points)
The remaining points totals were as follows:
- Russia – Freyman – 123 points
- Serbia – Stefan Zdravkovic – 118 points
- Latvia – Diāna Pasko – 111 points
- Moldova – Vladimir Fotescu – 113 points
- Estonia – MiLissa – 110 points
- Cuba – Alec Momac / Italy – Rossella Zitiello – Italy – 109 points
- Bulgaria – Slaveya Ivanova – 107 points
- Armenia – Harutyun Khachatryan – 106 points
The jury for the International Pop Song Performers Contest was formed of:
- Belarus – Inna Afanasieva – Singer, Honoured Artist of Belarus
- Belgium – Kate Ryan – Singer, Represented Belgium at Eurovision 2006
- Denmark – Tomas Nevergreen – Singer, Represented Denmark at Eurovision 2010
- Georgia – Vakhtang Kikabidze – Singer, songwriter and actor
- Russia – Oleg Gazmanov – Composer, Singer, Producer, People’s Artist of Russia
- Slovakia – Ladislav Bubnar – Singer

What is Slavianski Bazaar?
Slavianski Bazaar has been held in Vitebsk, Belarus annually since 1992. The event is a showcase of music, dance and culture from nations across the world. As part of Slavianski Bazaar there are two competitive singing competitions, the Children’s Contest and the International Pop Song Performers Contest.
The International Pop Song Performers Contest has been held since 1992 and launched a number of careers. Previous winners include Ruslana (1996), Željko Joksimović (1999), Toše Proeski (2000), Donny Montell (2008) and Dimash Kudaibergen (2015). The contest sees acts performing a Slavic song and a world hit, a ten person jury awards between 0-10 points for each performance.
The Children’s Contest was first held in 2003 and has been a launching point for a number of young performers. Singers who have taken part in the contest have gone on to represent their country at Junior Eurovision include; Ksenia Sitnik, Andrey Kunets, Luara Hayrapetyan, Anastasiya Baginska.
