ProSieben has confirmed that Steven Gätjen and Conchita Wurst will be hosting the Free European Song Contest 2021 on May 15.
Steven Gätjen and Conchita Wurst return as the hosts of the Free European Song Contest, having hosted the debut edition of the competition in 2020. Steven commented that:
The #FreeESC experiment worked out very well last year. I’m curious to see who will be there this year. I’m also happy that Conchita and I will be moderating together again. This year I will try to put Conchita’s outfits in the shadows We’ll see if I can do that on May 15th
With Conchita adding:
The #FreeESC was definitely one of my highlights last year. That’s why I’m extremely happy that the show is going into the second round and that Steven and I are moderating together again. I’m on the performances of the artists and on the musical spectrum is tense. And of course, I can’t wait to find out whether Steven will wear a blue tuxedo this time or a black tuxedo again. (laughs)
