Galsar Baygyskarova who was selected to represent Bashkortostan at the first Bala Turkvizyon Song Contest in Istanbul, Turkey has released a new single. Galsar won the Bashkir selection process for Bala Turkvizyon in 2015, however was forced to withdraw from the contest due to a deterioration in relations between Russia and Turkey.
Galsar was born on January 5, 2001 and won the Bashkir selection with the song “BashÒ¡ort Ò¡yzÌ¦y”, which was written by her uncle and arranged byÂ Aydar Khamzin who is a member of Kazan World.

The Bala Turkvizyon Song Contest was first held in 2015. The contest is the children’s version of the Turkvizyon Song Contest. Participants in the contest must be aged between 8 and 15 and perform their song in a Turkic language. The winner of the contest is decided by a jury made up one person representing each competing country. The winner of the first contest were Azerbaijan who were represented by Nuray & Ahmed and the song “Cocukluk Yillari”.
