And now, dear Friends, The baton of the international song contest Eurovision Song Contest 2018 is accepted by Turkvision 2018.
Already in October I will represent our wonderful country, Belarus in this contest! One of the conditions of this competition is the performance of a song in one of the Turkic languages.
Together with the beautiful singer Gunesh, who conducted the national selection in Belarus and chose me (thank you, Gunesh, for the trust), we prepared a bright, colorful number with a song in the Azerbaijani language: “Meni Anla”
We are rooting for Belarus! Are you with me, friends?
Svetlana who was born in Belarus is well-known for her performances of Indian songs and has fallen in love with performing in Hindi since she was a small child. Svetlana is well-known to Belarussian audiences having participated in Slavianski Bazaar in 2011 and the Eastern Bazaar in Yalta, Crimea in 2012.
The song which is to be performed in Azerbaijani translates as “Understand me”. This will be the second contest in a row in which Belarus has been represented by a song performed in Azerbaijani.
