Mensur Salkic who represented Bosnia & Herzegovina at the 2014 Turkvizyon Song Contest has released “Usne Nicije”.
“Usne Nicije” (No One’s Lips) is the latest release from the young singer from Bosnia & Herzegovina. Mensur announced alongside side this new single that he is working with his team on his second studio album. The song was written by Borislav Boki Domazet, while the music was arranged by Almir Ajanovic.
Mensur rose to fame in 2014 after winning the Bosnian television music contest ZMBT broadcast by Hayat TV. He went on to be internally selected by Hayat TV to represent Bosnia & Herzegovina at the 2014 Turkvizyon Song Contest in Kazan, Tatarstan. In Kazan he performed “Shutim”, which finished 10th in the final with 176 points. The performance received the maximum 10 points from Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

The Turkvizyon Song Contest was first held in 2013 in the Turkish city of Eskisehir. The contest which is open to Turkic nations and regions such as Turkey, Kazakhstan and Yakutia. The contest follows a similar format to the Eurovision Song Contest, with songs limited to being 4 minutes long. To date Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan have won the contest.
