Mark Forster Wins For Rhineland-Palatinate

Rhineland-Palatinate has won the 11th edition of the Bundesvision Song Contest live from Bremen.

Mark Forster sang “Bauch und Kopf” for Rhineland-Palatinate at this years contest in Bremen beating off competition from 15 other Bundesland. Mark was a favourite from the start of the show and was heavily hyped up throughout the show. In the end Rhineland-Palatinate consistently scored 12 and 10 points across Germany, while Thuringia and North Rhine-Westphalia exchanged 2nd and 3rd place through the voting.

  5. Baden-Württemberg – Glasperlenspiel – Geiles Leben – 82 points – 6th
  6. Saxony – Radio Doria – Sehnsucht Nr. 7 – 84 points – 4th
  7. Schleswig-Holstein – Jeden Tag Silvester – Dein Glück – 28 points – 10th
  8. North Rhine-Westphalia – Donots – Dann ohne mich – 117 points – 2nd
  9. Berlin – Lary – Bedtime Blues – 23 points – 11th
  10. Mecklenburg-Vorpommen – Buddy Buxbaum – Termin Im Park – 10 points – 15th
  11. Thuringia – Yvonne Catterfeld – Lieber So – 114 points – 3rd
  12. Bavaria – Wunderkynd – Hallo, Hallo – 16th – 2 points
  13. Lower Saxony – Madsen – Küss mich! – 84 points – 4th
  14. Bremen – Gloria – Geister – 46 points – 9th
  15. Hesse – Namika – Hellwach – 76 points – 7th
  16. Rhineland-Palatinate – Mark Forster – Bauch und Kopf – 170 points – 1st

It is not yet known whether the 2016 Bundesvision Song Contest will take place as Stefan Raab creator of the contest and tonight’s host is retiring from television at the end of 2015.
