Isle of Man: Glashtyn To Pan Celtic Song Contest 2016

Isle of Man selects their participants

Glashtyn have been selected to represent the Isle of Man at the 2016 Pan Celtic Song Contest.

Glashtyn was one of two bands competing in the 11th annual Arrane son Mannin in Peel. Glashtyn won over the three judges with their song ‘Pynt dy Lhune’ (A Pint of Ale). The other band in the contest Adhene performed ‘Awin Auldyn’ (Auldyn River).

Glashtyn will be representing the Isle of Man in Carlow this March and hoping to bring the region their second win in the contest>
