Kautokeino in Northern Norway has been announced as the host city of the 2016 Liet International Song Contest.
The Liet International Song Contest was last held in 2014Â and returns for its 11th edition in 2016.Â Liet International is an annual contest held for languages that are deemed as under threat in Europe. The rules are simple that English is banned from the contest, the winner of Liet International is decided by juries from each of the participating regions.
The date of the contest has not yet been confirmed but will take place at the end of November or early December.
