Today Lithuania will become the latest country to select their participants in Slavianski Bazaar 2017.

Lithuania will select their participants for this years Slavianski Bazaar, with the selection taking place at the “Bona Familiar” Production Centre. Lithuania is the first of the Baltic states to hold their selection process for this years competition, with Estonia also due to select their participants in the coming days.

Lithuania has won the International Pop Song Performers competition once in 2008. The Lithuanian winner was Donny Montell who has gone on to represent his country at the Eurovision Song Contest on two occasions. Other notable results include a third place finish in 2011 and a fourth place finish at the 2009 contest. The country has also participated in the children’s contest but has failed to win the contest so far.

To date the following countries have confirmed their participation in this years contest:

  • Lithuania
  • Moldova
  • Romania
  • Russia
