Stefan Manasievic will be performing the Lara Fabian hit “Je t’aime” at Slavianski Bazaar 2017 in Vibetsk, Belarus.
Stefan Manasievic this years Macedonian entrant in the International Pop Song Performers Category of Slavianski Bazaar has revealed one of his performances at this years contest. The young Macedonian singer will be performing a cover of “Je t’aime” by the internationally acclaimed singer, Lara Fabian. The song went on to reach number 6 in both the Belgian and French charts when it was released in 1997.
Macedonia are the most successful nation from the Balkans participating in the competition. They have won the International Pop Song Performers Contest twice, the first time being in 2000 with Tose Proeski, he went on to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul, Turkey. Their most recent victory came in 2012 when Bobi Mojsovski, he has gone on to participate in a number of festivals as well as X Factor Adria.

Slavianski Bazaar has been held annually in Vibetsk, Belarus since 1992. The event consists of two competitive contests, the International Pop Song Performers Contest for singers age 18 to 31, and the Children’s Contest for those age between 7 and 12. The competition is popular in the former Soviet Union, Baltic States and the Balkans. Winners include Ruslana, Zeljko Joksimovic, Donny Montell and Alyona Lanskaya. The Children’s Contest has been held since 2003 and former winners include singers who have gone on to compete in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. This includes former winner Ksenia Sitnik who won for Belarus in 2005.
