Mongolia has withdrawn from participating in the ABU TV Song Festival 2016 next week in Bali, Indonesia.
Mongolia has for a second time withdrawn from participating in the ABU TV Song Festival. Mongolia had been due to debut in this years ABU TV Song Festival, represented by the renowned singer Naran. For unknown reasons MNB the Mongolian national broadcaster has opted to not take part in the event which will take place on October 22.
This is not the first time that Mongolia has withdrawn from the ABU TV Song Festival before the event has been held. Mongolia had been due to participate in the first event in 2012 again represented by Naran, but withdrew for unknown reasons. Mongolia has now joined India, Malaysia and Thailand in withdrawing from this years festival in Bali, Indonesia.
A total of 13 countries will be participating in the 5th ABU TV Song Festival in Bali, Indonesia. Debuting at this years festival is Tunisia, while China, Sri Lanka and Thailand are all returning to the festival. Currently both Tunisia and Thailand are yet to reveal the songs that there performers will be singing in Bali.
