New Wave: New Wave 2015 Delayed Until October

New Wave 2015 Dates Changed

New Wave the international contest for new stars of music has been delayed until October 2015.

New Wave which this year moves from Jurmala, Latvia to Sochi, Russia has been pushed back to 2 October – 11 October, the contest was set to take place from 25 August to 30 August. No reason for the contests delay has been given. New Wave has seen massive change in the past year, the event was moved from Latvia to Russia due to Latvia placing travel bans on a number of Russian artists and officials.

A total of 16 singers from 12 countries have been selected to participate in this years contest:

  • Tatiana Shamanina (Russia)
  • “Inzhir” (Belarus)
  • Grigor Kekchyan (Armenia)
  • Nevena Tsoneva (Bulgaria)
  • Jessica Wendel (Greece)
  • Valeriy Bogdanov (Latvia)
  • Michele Perniola (Italy)
  • Vadim Oleynik (Ukraine)
  • “The Pringlez” (Ukraine).
