Lyudmila Bazadzhi the Ukrainian entrant in Bala Turkvision will be performing the song “Bir aylä” at the 2017 Bala Turkvision Song Contest.
The recording of Ukraine’s entry for the 2nd edition of the Bala Turkvision Song Contest took place in December. Lyudmila Bazadzhi will be performing the song “Bir aylä” which translates as “One Family”. The date of the reveal of the song has yet to be revealed.
The Ukrainian selection was held in June in the village of Vinogradovka in Bolgrad District. 10 children from across the Gagauz villages of the Odessa region took part in the selection, all hoping to represent Ukraine at this years Bala Turkvision Song Contest. Each of the participants performed songs in either Russian, Ukrainian, Gagauz, Kazakh, Turkish.
The following countries and regions had confirmed that they will be competing in the 2016 contest, however it is unknown if they will participate in the 2017 contest:

- Crimea – Regina Vosika
- Kumyk – Karim Salavatov
- Romania – Alessya Duran Selma
- Stavropol Krai – Madina Kartakeyva
- Ukraine – Lydumila Bazadzhi
Ukraine was one of 13 countries and regions to participate in the first edition of the Bala Turkvision Song Contest in 2015. At the contest in Istanbul they were represented by Albina Kazanzhi with the song “Dostluk”. She finished 5th in the contest scoring a total of 102 points and received the maximum of 10 points from Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Gagauzia.
No date has been announced for the Bala Turkvision Song Contest, the Turkvision Song Contest 2017 is to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan this September
