Natali Deniz who represented Ukraine at the Turkvision Song Contest 2014 has released her latest song “Iki Gunesh”.

Natali Deniz is back with her latest song “Iki gunesh”, the song is the first release from the ethnic Gagauz singer in 2017 and marks her first new single in over a year. The song which is performed in Gagauz was written by Potr Moyse, with the music being composed by Konstantin Dusku. Konstantin has worked with a Natali on a number of her previous songs including “Sorma”.

Since participating in the Turkvision Song Contest 2014 the 28 year old singer has continued to perform in Ukraine and Moldova. She has also traveled abroad including to Macedonia to compete in other singing contest.

Ukraine is being represented by Natalie Pazaoglu at the 4th edition of the Turkvision Song Contest later this year in Astana, Kazakhstan. She will be performing the song “Tikneli yol”, which translates as “A thorny path”. She was selected to participate in the contest in July of 2016.

The Turkvision Song Contest was first held in 2013 in the Turkish city of Eskisehir. The contest which is open to Turkic nations and regions such as Turkey, Kazakhstan and Yakutia. The contest follows a similar format to the Eurovision Song Contest, with songs limited to being 4 minutes long. To date Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan have won the contest.
